Counter-Arguments

The strongest case that this verse does not belong in this theme.

Dominion Over Creation

This verse describes Solomon's building projects and territorial holdings, which are examples of human dominion over land and resources, not explicitly "creation" in the sense of living things or the natural world. The verse focuses on human-made structures and administrative control, not authority over the earth's ecosystems or creatures.

Stewardship of Creation

The verse describes Solomon's building activities and possessions, focusing on his desires and dominion rather than his care, responsibility, or accountable management of resources. It lists his constructions and holdings as a display of power and wealth, not as an example of tending or keeping creation.
