Counter-Arguments

The strongest case that this verse does not belong in this theme.

Literal Fulfillment

While the outcome is literal, the *means* by which it occurs (water without wind or rain) is miraculous and thus not a straightforward "literal" event in the sense of natural phenomena.

Total Abstinence

This verse describes a miraculous provision of water in a valley without visible wind or rain, and makes no mention of wine, alcohol, or the concept of abstinence from any substance.

Prophetic Methods of Communication

The verse describes the content of a prophetic message ("thus saith the Lord") and its outcome, but it does not detail the specific method by which the prophet received this message (e.g., dream, vision, audible voice).
