Counter-Arguments

The strongest case that this verse does not belong in this theme.

The Ram and He-Goat (Daniel 8)

The verse describes an entity waxing great and casting down parts of the "host of heaven" and "stars," but it does not explicitly mention a ram, a he-goat, Medo-Persia, Greece, or the breaking of a great horn into four. Therefore, on its own, it does not directly support the theme of "The Ram and He-Goat (Daniel 8)."

The Little Horn of Daniel 7

This verse describes a horn that "waxed great" and cast down parts of the "host of heaven" and "stars," but it does not mention a "little horn," the fourth beast, Rome, speaking against God, persecuting saints, changing times and laws, or ruling for a prophetic time period, which are all explicit elements of the theme's definition.
