Destruction / Perishing Language

While the verse uses "destroyed" and "desolate wilderness," these terms describe the destruction of God's "vineyard" and "portion" (referring to the land/people of Israel), not the perishing of the wicked as a theological fate. The "pastors" are the agents of destruction, but their own fate is not the subject.
