Christ as High Priest

This verse simply describes a historical event involving Jeremiah and two individuals sent by King Zedekiah, one of whom is identified as a priest. It makes no mention of Christ, priesthood in general, or any theological concepts related to mediation, sacrifice, or the Melchizedek connection.
