Literal Fulfillment

While the verse describes a concrete outcome (death), the "casting off the face of the earth" could be interpreted metaphorically as a complete removal from influence or memory, rather than strictly a physical displacement.

Prophetic Methods of Communication

The verse describes a divine judgment delivered through a prophet, but it does not detail the method by which God communicated this judgment to Jeremiah. It focuses on the content of the message and its recipient, not the process of revelation.
