Israel as Unfaithful Wife

The verse describes Israel as "backsliding" and Judah as "treacherous," which are terms related to disobedience and betrayal, but it does not explicitly use marital or spousal language to depict their relationship with the Lord. The comparison is between two groups' actions, not directly about a broken marital covenant.
