Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

Christ as High Priest

The verse describes the high priest questioning Jesus, not Jesus acting as a high priest. There is no mention of Jesus mediating, interceding, or offering sacrifice, nor any connection to the Melchizedek priesthood.
