This verse describes a specific historical event concerning the death of two Levitical priests and the succession of their brothers within the Aaronic priesthood. It contains no direct or indirect mention of a future high priest, a different order of priesthood, or any sacrificial act that could be interpreted as a prefigurement of Christ.
