Christ as High Priest

The verse describes the allocation of wagons and oxen to the Merarites for their service in the tabernacle, under the supervision of Ithamar, a Levitical priest. It makes no mention of a high priest, mediation, sacrifice, or any figure that could be interpreted as a prefigurement or type of Christ.
