Counter-Arguments

The strongest case that this verse does not belong in this theme.

Earthly Sanctuary System

This verse describes a "true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man," directly contrasting it with any man-made, and thus earthly, sanctuary system. Therefore, it could be argued that the verse is actually distinguishing itself from the earthly sanctuary system rather than supporting it.

Heavenly Sanctuary

The verse describes a "true tabernacle" that the Lord pitched, which could be interpreted metaphorically as God's spiritual presence or a spiritual reality, rather than a literal physical sanctuary in heaven.

Ongoing Atonement

The verse describes Jesus' role as a minister in a heavenly sanctuary and tabernacle, but it does not explicitly detail the *nature* of his ongoing work there, nor does it directly connect this ministry to the *application* of a sacrifice.

Christ as High Priest

The verse describes a "minister of the sanctuary" and a "true tabernacle" but does not explicitly name Christ or detail the functions of a high priest, such as mediation, intercession, or sacrifice. It focuses on the origin of the tabernacle rather than the priestly role within it.
