The strongest case that this verse does not belong in this theme.

Symbolic / Non-Fermented Wine

The verse explicitly mentions "blood" coming out of the winepress, not "wine" in any form, fermented or unfermented. The "winepress" itself is a metaphor for divine judgment and wrath, and the "blood" is a literal depiction of the resulting carnage. There is no linguistic or contextual basis to interpret "wine" as being present or implied in this verse, let alone to discuss its fermented or unfermented nature.
